Mangum, Oklahoma (April 4, 2008) –Dr. Jeff Lester and his wife are longtime residents of Mangum and are “pleased to be back in Mangum with all of our friends”, stated Dr. Lester.
Dr. Lester is now seeing patients at QMMC – Mangum. Dr. Lester received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Oklahoma. He soon began practicing family medicine in
Mangum and remained in Mangum for 20 years
before leaving to serve as the President and
Medical Director of MEDICS International Care
in missionary work as a family medicine
physician. Dr. Lester previously served as an U.S. Army Medic during
Vietnam and an U.S. Army Staff Physician during Desert Storm. He
has also served in numerous leading positions both in the medical
field and in the community as a former Mangum School Board
president, Mangum City Municipal Hospital Board of Directors
president, and as a Chief of Staff and Chief of Surgery.
As a family medicine physician, Dr. Lester provides healthcare
services for the entire family – from newborns to grandparents. With
a focus on disease prevention and preventative health measures, the
diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illness, lifetime wellness
