Brian Hecker Joins Blackhawk Healthcare as Vice President of Information Systems

Austin, TX (March 12, 2008) - Blackhawk Healthcare, an owner and operator of Critical Access Hospitals, has hired Brian Hecker as Vice President of Information Systems.  Brian is responsible for the creation and deployment of information technology initiatives to meet Blackhawk’s rapidly growing technology needs within their hospitals.  Blackhawk has nearly 300 employees in hospitals located in 2 states.  Brian will be based in Austin, Texas.

Most recently, Brian served as Regional Manager for Future Trends, a managed service provider that serviced clients in Los Angeles, Austin and New York.  Prior to that he was a Senior Consultant at ITech where he managed the Austin, Texas office.

Blackhawk Healthcare is an owner and operator of rural healthcare facilities, specifically Critical Access Hospitals. Founded in 2003, Blackhawk currently owns and operates Critical Access Hospitals in Rockdale, Texas and Mangum, Oklahoma and is headquartered in Austin, TX.
