Phil Ellett Joins Blackhawk Healthcare as Chief Executive Officer

Austin, TX (January 8, 2010) – Phil Ellett has joined Blackhawk Healthcare as Chief Executive Officer.  He most recently held the position of President of the Americas for Ingram Micro where he was responsible for operations that generated over $20B in annual revenue.  “We are so pleased and fortunate to have someone with Phil’s extensive background in sales, marketing and executive management in both North America and Europe,” says Todd Biederman, President of Blackhawk Healthcare.

Previous to his role at Ingram Micro, Phil served as President and CEO for Gates F/A.  Over 7 years, he led that company from 60 people and $60M in sales, to over 800 people and $1.2B in sales.  “I feel honored and humbled to be the CEO of Blackhawk Healthcare.  This is a great organization full of dedicated, hard working individuals.  I look forward to building on the foundation already in place and help take Blackhawk to the next generation by delivering the absolute best healthcare to our rural communities”, says Phil.
